고양특례시 화정1동 주민자치회가 지난 14일 ‘쓰레기를 담자, 쓰담쓰담 화정1동 마을대청소’ 행사를 열고 마을 곳곳의 환경을 깨끗이 정비했다.

이번 행사는 따뜻한 봄을 맞아 주민들에게 쾌적한 생활 환경을 제공하기 위해 마련됐으며, 주민자치회 위원 20여 명이 참여해 지역 내 주요 공원과 도로변에 방치된 쓰레기를 수거하며 깨끗한 도시 미관 조성에 나섰다.  

장정효 화정1동 주민자치회장은 “화정1동의 환경 개선에 함께할 수 있어 매우 뿌듯하다”며 “앞으로도 꾸준한 환경 정화 활동을 통해 살기 좋은 마을 만들기에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.  

이효섭 화정1동장은 “아름답고 쾌적한 마을 조성을 위해 노력해주신 주민자치회 위원들께 감사드린다”며 “주민들이 더 깨끗한 환경에서 생활할 수 있도록 행정적인 지원을 지속하겠다”고 밝혔다.
