고양특례시 높빛도서관이 오는 5월부터 8월까지 늘푸른교실 지역아동센터와 협력해 ‘2026년 도서관과 함께 책 읽기’ 프로그램을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

이번 프로그램은 국립어린이청소년도서관이 주최·주관하는 공모사업에 선정되며 추진된 것으로, 지식정보취약계층 어린이들의 독서 습관 형성과 문화 향유 기회 확대를 목표로 마련됐다.

도서관과 함께 책 읽기 사업은 공공도서관과 지역사회가 협력해 맞춤형 독서프로그램을 제공하는 사업으로, 어린이들이 독서를 통해 다양한 경험을 쌓을 수 있도록 지원하는 데 중점을 두고 있다.

높빛도서관은 늘푸른교실 지역아동센터와 협력해 ‘관계’를 주제로 총 16회에 걸친 프로그램을 운영할 계획이다.

주요 프로그램은 도서관 견학 및 활용 수업을 비롯해 그림책을 활용한 푸드테라피, TRPG 기반 스토리 몰입형 활동, 독서토론 교육, 작가와의 만남 등으로 구성됐다.

이번 프로그램은 어린이들이 책과 도서관을 매개로 또래와 소통하며 사고의 폭을 넓히고, 자신의 감정과 생각을 자연스럽게 표현할 수 있도록 돕는 데 초점을 맞췄다.

Goyang Nopbit Library to Operate Reading Culture Program for Underprivileged Children
