생명의 소중함을 간직한 숲을 보호하고, 나라꽃 무궁화에 대한 사랑을 되새기는 뜻깊은 문화 행사가 광주광역시에서 성황리에 열렸다.

한국숲사랑 총연합회 중앙회는 지난 11일 오후 2시, 상무시민공원 야외공연장에서 ‘축하콘서트 & 숲사랑 문화행사’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 산불 예방의 중요성을 널리 알리고, 나라꽃 무궁화에 대한 관심과 사랑을 확산하기 위해 마련됐다.

행사에는 이송암 중앙회 총재와 김필례 경기지역 총재를 비롯해 이개호 국회의원, 주요 기관 관계자, 시민과 회원 등 1,000여 명이 참석해 의미를 더했다.

이날 행사는1. 2부로 나뉘어 진행됐다. 

1부에서는 ‘숲사랑 실천 캠페인’이 펼쳐져 산불 예방 홍보와 함께 생활 속 환경보호 실천을 독려하며 시민들의 적극적인 참여를 이끌어냈다. 

이어진 2부에서는 무궁화의 상징성과 가치를 되새기는 기념 행사와 다채로운 문화공연이 이어지며 현장 분위기를 한층 고조시켰다.

특히 축하공연에는 TV조선 ‘미스트롯’ 출신 가수들이 출연해 눈길을 끌었다. 

김산하, 김혜진, 김수빈 등 인기가수들은 뛰어난 가창력과 무대 매너로 관객들의 큰 호응을 얻었으며, 감성 연주팀 아이리스의 품격 있는 연주가 더해져 공연의 완성도를 높였다.

행사를 주최한 이송암 총재는 “광주 시민들과 함께 자연보호의 중요성을 공유하고 무궁화의 의미를 되새길 수 있어 매우 뜻깊다”며 “앞으로도 숲을 지키는 문화 확산에 지속적으로 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.
