경기 고양특례시가 따스한 봄을 맞아 시민과 관광객을 위한 특별한 야간 명소를 다시 연다. 

고양시는 3월부터 시작된 행주산성 야간개장의 인기에 힘입어, 4월에는 만개한 봄꽃과 조명이 어우러진 한층 더 낭만적인 야간 산책 프로그램을 선보인다고 8일 밝혔다.

이번 야간개장은 진달래와 개나리 등 봄꽃이 절정을 이루는 시기에 맞춰 진행된다.

낮에는 화사한 봄꽃 풍경을 감상할 수 있고, 밤이 되면 한강의 불빛과 어우러진 환상적인 야경이 더해져 전혀 다른 분위기를 연출한다. 

운영일은 4월 11일과 25일이며, 관람 시간은 오후 6시부터 10시까지로 입장은 오후 9시에 마감된다. 

관람료와 주차비는 무료이며, 주차비는 오후 6시 이후부터 면제된다. 

또한 행주산성 야간개장은 오는 10월까지 매월 둘째·넷째 주 토요일마다 정기적으로 이어질 예정이다.

야간개장의 하이라이트로 꼽히는 곳은 정상에 위치한 행주대첩비다. 

이곳에서는 탁 트인 한강을 배경으로 펼쳐지는 야경을 한눈에 담을 수 있어 방문객들 사이에서 ‘인생 사진’ 명소로 인기를 끌고 있다. 

특히 일몰 시간대에는 붉게 물든 노을과 도심의 야경이 동시에 어우러져 더욱 인상적인 풍경을 선사한다.

고양시 관계자는 “일상에 지친 시민들이 자연과 역사, 그리고 야경이 어우러진 행주산성에서 여유로운 시간을 보내길 바란다”며 “안전하고 쾌적한 관람 환경을 제공하기 위해 준비에 만전을 기하고 있다”고 밝혔다.

다만 야외 행사 특성상 우천 등 기상 상황에 따라 운영이 취소될 수 있어 방문 전 행주산성 관리사무소를 통해 개장 여부를 확인하는 것이 필요하다.
