파주시가 여성 대상 범죄 예방과 신속한 안전망 구축을 위해 ‘2026년 여성안심패키지 지원사업’을 예년보다 한 달 이상 앞당겨 시행한다. 

이번 조치는 물품 보급 시기를 상반기로 앞당겨 여성들이 일상에서 체감하는 안전도를 높이고, 범죄 예방 효과를 극대화하기 위한 선제적 대응으로 풀이된다.

올해 신청 접수는 지난해보다 크게 앞당겨 오는 4월 20일부터 5월 1일까지 진행된다. 

신청은 온라인 ‘경기민원24’를 통해 가능하며, 고령자 등 온라인 이용이 어려운 경우에는 관할 읍면동 행정복지센터를 방문해 접수할 수 있다. 

선정 결과는 5월 중 개별 문자로 통보되며, 이후 대상자에게는 순차적으로 물품이 택배 발송될 예정이다.

지원 규모는 총 36가구로, 범죄 취약 가구를 중심으로 우선 선정한다. 

대상은 여성 1인 가구를 비롯해 18세 미만 자녀를 둔 한부모가정, 범죄 피해 여성, 여성으로만 구성된 가구 등이다. 

특히 주거침입, 스토킹, 교제폭력, 성폭력 등 범죄 피해 여성은 1순위로 선정되며, 이어 기초생활수급자 및 차상위계층 등 취약계층, 임차가구 순으로 우선순위가 적용된다. 

다만 2023년부터 2025년까지 동일 사업의 수혜를 받은 가구는 중복 지원이 제한된다.

선정된 가구에는 실생활에서 즉각적인 대응이 가능한 ‘여성안심 패키지’ 6종이 무료로 제공된다. 

구성품은 실시간 모니터링이 가능한 가정용 지능형 카메라를 비롯해 문 열림 감지기, 호신용 분사기, 창문 잠금장치, 휴대용 경보기, 송장 지우개 등으로, 주거 침입 예방과 위급 상황 대응, 개인정보 보호까지 폭넓게 지원한다.

신청 시에는 주민등록등본과 지원 신청서를 기본으로 제출해야 하며, 대상 유형에 따라 한부모가족증명서나 범죄 피해 사실을 입증할 수 있는 서류를 추가로 준비해야 한다.

파주시 관계자는 “지난해 하반기 보급으로 발생했던 시간적 공백을 최소화하기 위해 올해는 행정 절차를 대폭 앞당겼다”며 “혼자 사는 여성들이 보다 안심하고 생활할 수 있는 환경 조성에 실질적인 도움이 되길 기대한다”고 밝혔다.

It offers comprehensive support ranging from home invasion prevention and emergency response to the protection of personal information.

When applying, applicants must submit a Resident Registration Certificate and an application form as standard. Depending on the target category, additional documents such as a Single-Parent Family Certificate or proof of victimization must also be prepared. A Paju City official stated, “We have significantly expedited administrative procedures this year to minimize the time gap caused by the distribution in the second half of last year,” adding, “We hope this will provide practical assistance in creating an environment where women living alone can feel safer.”
