고양특례시 민선 9기 시정 운영의 밑그림을 그릴 시장직인수위원회인 ‘고양대전환준비위원회’가 15일 성사동 창조혁신캠퍼스성사 사무실에서 출범식을 갖고 본격적인 활동에 돌입했다.

이날 출범식에는 민경선 고양특례시장 당선인을 비롯해 김달수 준비위원장, 김성회, 한준호, 이기헌 등 지역 국회의원들과 준비위원들이 참석해 새로운 시정 출범을 함께 축하했다.

준비위는 출범식 직후 첫 전체회의를 열고 민선 9기 시정 목표와 핵심 과제 설정을 위한 논의에 착수했다. 

이번 주에는 고양시 각 부서로부터 주요 업무를 보고받고 공약 실천계획을 점검하며 정책의 우선순위와 실행 가능성을 검토할 예정이다.

이어 다음 주에는 분과별 심층 토론과 현장 방문을 병행해 주요 시정 현안에 대한 종합적인 분석을 진행할 계획이다.

준비위는 위원장을 포함해 총 15명의 전문위원으로 구성됐으며, 효율적인 공약 이행을 위해 기획행정, 환경경제, 건설교통, 문화복지 등 4개 일반분과와 미래산업·자족도시, 노후도시정비·철도교통 등 2개 특별분과로 운영된다.

특히 미래산업·자족도시 특별분과는 청년 일자리 창출과 미래 성장동력 확보에 초점을 맞춘다.

백석업무빌딩 내 항공우주·게임산업 대학 캠퍼스 유치, e-스포츠 스타디움 건립, 일산테크노밸리 앵커기업 유치, UN AI 허브센터 유치 방안 등을 검토해 청년이 머물고 돌아오는 자족도시 기반 마련에 나설 예정이다.

노후도시정비·철도교통 특별분과는 주거환경 개선과 교통 혁신을 핵심 과제로 삼는다.

주교동 신청사 원안 건립과 노후계획도시 재건축 방안, 버스 노선 개편, 광역철도망 확충 등 시민들의 생활과 직결된 현안을 중심으로 실질적인 대책을 마련할 방침이다.
