파주시 관내 청소년 615명이 음악·무용·밴드 등 다양한 장르로 무대를 수놓은 '2026 파주시청소년예술제'가 지난 5월 26일부터 28일까지 사흘간 운정행복센터 1층 공연장에서 열렸다.

파주청소년재단 금촌청소년문화의집이 주관한 이번 행사는 제34회 경기도청소년예술제 파주시 예선을 겸해 진행됐으며 "Be Happy, 무대 위에 피어나다."를 올해 슬로건으로 내걸고 음악·무용·사물놀이·대중문화·문예 등 5개 부문 15개 종목에 걸쳐 참가 청소년들이 그간 연마해 온 실력을 겨뤘다.

행사 일정은 26일 개회식을 시작으로 사물놀이·무용·댄스(26일), 음악·보컬(27일), 밴드(28일) 순으로 진행됐으며, 각 부문 경연이 마무리된 직후 당일 시상식이 이어졌고 시·산문과 숏폼 영상을 대상으로 한 공모 부문은 사전 심사를 거쳐 수상작을 가렸다.

이번 예술제는 '금촌청소년문화의집' 유튜브 채널을 통해 전 경연 과정을 실시간 생중계, 현장을 찾지 못한 시민들도 온라인으로 함께할 수 있도록 했으며 각 부문 최우수상 수상자 및 팀에게는 경기도청소년예술제 본선 출전 자격이 주어진다.
