파주시 문산도서관이 문학상주작가 신주희 작가와 함께하는 글쓰기 강연 '밑줄 긋고 옮겨 쓰는 문장 냉장고' 참여자를 모집한다.

'문장 냉장고'는 독서 중 마음에 와닿은 문장을 냉장고 속 신선한 식재료처럼 차곡차곡 모아 두었다가, 이를 바탕으로 자신만의 이야기를 풀어내는 방식의 글쓰기 강연이다.

강연에서는 읽다가 멈추게 된 문장에 직접 밑줄을 긋고 손으로 옮겨 쓰며, 자신만의 기준으로 분류·보관하는 법을 익힌다. 

이렇게 쌓인 문장들은 글을 쓰고 싶을 때 언제든 꺼내 활용할 수 있는 든든한 창작 재료가 되고 총 3주간 진행되며, 매 회차 작가와 함께 나만의 '문장 냉장고'를 직접 만들어 보는 실습 시간도 마련된다.

신주희 작가는 "좋은 문장이 없으면 좋은 글도 없다"고 강조하며 이번 강연은 글쓰기의 첫걸음인 '좋은 문장 수집'부터 쉽고 차근차근 시작할 수 있도록 설계돼, 글쓰기 입문자도 부담 없이 참여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Munsan Library Recruits Participants for Writing Lecture with Resident Writer

Paju City Munsan Library is recruiting participants for a writing lecture titled "Underlining and Copying Sentences: The Sentence Refrigerator," led by Resident Writer Shin Ju-hee.

"The Sentence Refrigerator" is a writing workshop where participants collect sentences that resonate with them while reading—much like fresh ingredients in a refrigerator—and use them as a basis to unfold their own stories.

The program runs for a total of three weeks, and each session includes a hands-on workshop where participants can build their own "Sentence Refrigerator" together with the author. Author Shin Ju-hee emphasized, "Without good sentences, there is no good writing." This lecture is designed to allow participants to start easily and step-by-step, beginning with "collecting good sentences," the first step in writing, and is expected to allow even beginners to participate without pressure.
