(재)파주문화재단이 오는 6월부터 11월까지 시민 생활 속으로 직접 찾아드리는 순회 공연 프로그램 '찾아가는 문화하루'를 본격 가동한다.

이 사업은 주민 수요조사 결과를 토대로 읍·면·동 행정복지센터와 각종 복지시설을 직접 방문해 공연을 선보이는 방식으로 운영되며 재단 측은 각 지역의 문화적 특성과 수요를 꼼꼼히 따져 맞춤형 프로그램을 꾸릴 계획이다. 

올해 첫 무대는 6월 10일 LG이노텍 파주사업장에서 열리며, 파주시노인복지관 등을 차례로 돌며 연내 10회 공연을 채운다.

재단은 공연 장소의 특성과 신청 기관의 요구를 반영해 공간과 관람객 특성에 맞는 무대를 꾸밀 방침이고 별도의 외출 없이도 삶의 터전에서 자연스럽게 예술을 접하는 환경을 만들겠다는 구상을 가지고 있으며 아울러 파주 지역 예술단체와 개인 예술가에게 발표 무대를 넓혀 주고, 시민과 지역 예술인이 어우러지는 공연 생태계를 활성화하는 효과도 기대하고 있다.

프로그램은 복지시설과 문화공간은 물론 지역 축제 현장까지 파주시 전역을 무대로, 음악과 전통예술 등 다양한 장르를 아울러 진행된다.

The Paju Cultural Foundation is officially launching 'Visiting Culture Day,' a touring performance program that brings performances directly into the daily lives of citizens, from this coming June to November.
