공사는 지난 5월 19일 마장호수 일대에서 관내 지역아동센터 소속 어린이들을 초청하여 함께하는 힐링동행 문화체험 행사를 진행했다.

이번 행사는 취약계층 아동들에게 수려한 자연환경을 배경으로 다채로운 관광 자원을 경험할 수 있는 기회를 주고자 기획됐으며 행사 진행을 위해 공사는 광탄면 소재 민들레 지역아동센터와 긴밀히 협력했다.

이날 초청된 어린이들은 마장호수의 명물인 출렁다리를 관람하고, 킹카누를 타는 수상레저 활동을 즐겼으며 또한 아름답게 조성된 포토존에서 기념사진을 촬영하는 등 야외에서 즐거운 추억을 남겼다.

공사 측은 참가자들의 안전을 최우선으로 고려해 야외 활동 시작 전 철저한 안전교육과 유의사항 안내를 실시했고 향후에도 지역 자원과 연계된 체험형 프로그램을 지속적으로 발굴하여 공공기관의 사회적 책임을 다하고 지역사회 기여 활동을 넓혀갈 방침이다.
