파주시 일자리센터가 중장년 구직자들의 재취업 채비를 도왔다.

시는 지난 20일 일자리센터에서 40대 이상 구직자를 겨냥한 입사서류 작성 집중 과정을 열어 15명이 과정을 끝마쳤다.

이 과정은 급변하는 채용 시장에서 오랜 경력을 가진 구직자들이 자신만의 강점을 서류에 녹여낼 수 있도록 이론 강의와 실습을 함께 엮어 설계됐다.

커리큘럼은 지원 업종 분석을 토대로 한 서류 전략 수립에서 출발해 자기소개서 항목별 기술 요령, 읽히는 문서를 만드는 편집 감각까지 단계적으로 다뤘다. 

특히 눈에 띄는 대목은 AI 도구 활용 실습이며 수강생들은 생성형 인공지능을 써서 실제 희망 기업의 지원서를 직접 써보고 강사의 첨삭과 상호 평가를 거치며 부족한 부분을 짚었다.

이이구 민생경제과장은 "수십 년의 현장 경험이 곧 경쟁력이지만, 그것을 서류로 풀어내는 기술이 뒷받침돼야 한다"며 "이번 과정이 수료생들의 도전에 실질적인 발판이 되길 바란다"고 

밝혔다.

파주시는 지난해 같은 과정을 통해 배출한 수료생 13명 가운데 3명이 실제로 일자리를 찾았다며, 올해도 성과를 이어가겠다는 기대를 내비쳤다.

The Paju City Job Center has helped middle-aged job seekers prepare for re-employment.

On the 20th, the city held an intensive course on writing application documents at the Job Center, targeting job seekers aged 40 and older, with 15 participants completing the course.

This course was designed to combine theoretical lectures with practical exercises to help experienced job seekers incorporate their unique strengths into their application documents amidst the rapidly changing hiring market.

The curriculum covered a step-by-step process, starting with establishing document strategies based on industry analysis, followed by writing tips for each section of the self-introduction letter, and finally, developing editing skills to create readable documents.

A particularly notable aspect was the practical training using AI tools; participants used generative AI to write application documents for their target companies, identifying areas for improvement through feedback from instructors and peer evaluations. Lee Yi-gu, Head of the Livelihood Economy Division, stated, "Decades of field experience are a competitive edge, but they must be backed by the skill to translate that experience into documentation," adding, "I hope this course serves as a practical stepping stone for the graduates' future endeavors."

Paju City expressed expectations to continue these results this year, noting that three out of the 13 graduates from the same course last year actually found jobs.
