민경선 고양특례시장이 명지병원에서 열린 환우 위로 힐링 콘서트에 참석해 환우와 가족들에게 따뜻한 위로와 응원의 메시지를 전하며 시민 건강 증진을 위한 의료기관과의 협력 의지를 강조했다.

고양특례시는 지난 7일 명지병원 대강당에서 열린 '환우 위로 힐링 콘서트'에 민경선 시장이 참석했다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 명지병원이 주최했으며 입원 환우와 가족, 병원 임직원, 지역 목회자 등 300여 명이 참석한 가운데 성황리에 진행됐다.

공연은 치료 과정에서 심리적·정서적 어려움을 겪는 환우들에게 음악을 통한 위로와 희망을 전하기 위해 마련됐다.

민경선 시장은 축사를 통해 최근 명지의료재단 이왕준 이사장이 국제병원연맹(IHF) 차기 회장으로 선출된 것을 축하하며 "오늘 이 자리가 힘든 치료 과정을 견디고 계신 환우와 가족 여러분께 음악을 통해 위로와 희망을 전하는 소중한 시간이 되길 바란다"고 말했다.

이어 "치료 중인 모든 분들이 하루빨리 건강을 회복하시기를 진심으로 기원한다"며 "앞으로도 고양시는 명지병원과 긴밀한 협력을 이어가며 시민 모두가 건강하고 행복한 삶을 누릴 수 있는 도시를 만들어 가겠다"고 밝혔다.

명지병원은 그동안 기독교 정신을 바탕으로 고양시기독교총연합회와 함께 매년 상·하반기 조찬기도회를 개최해 왔다. 

올해 하반기에는 기존 조찬기도회 형식에서 벗어나 환우들의 정서적 치유와 심리적 안정을 돕기 위한 음악회 형태로 새롭게 구성해 의미를 더했다.

행사는 1부 비전 축복 기도회와 2부 문화예술 공연으로 진행됐다. 

본 공연에서는 국내 정상급 현악 앙상블 '조이오브스트링스'와 피아니스트 케이 김경은이 수준 높은 클래식 무대를 선보이며 환우들에게 감동을 선사했다.

특히 이왕준 명지의료재단 이사장이 직접 바이올린 협연자로 무대에 올라 연주를 펼쳐 큰 관심을 모았다. 

공연장을 가득 메운 환우와 가족들은 따뜻한 선율에 박수와 환호를 보내며 공연을 함께 즐겼다.

이번 힐링 콘서트는 음악을 매개로 환우와 가족들에게 위로와 희망을 전하는 것은 물론 지역사회와 의료기관, 종교계가 함께 환우 중심의 치유 문화를 만들어가는 의미 있는 자리로 마무리됐다.
