민경선 고양특례시장이 지역 경제인과 산·학·연 관계자들을 만나 고양시의 경제정책 방향을 공유하고 기업 현장의 목소리를 직접 청취하며 지역경제 활성화를 위한 소통 행보를 이어갔다.

민 시장은 8일 소노캄 고양 다이아몬드홀에서 열린 제81회 고양경제포럼에 참석해 '고양시 지역경제 활성화 방안'을 주제로 시정 운영 방향과 주요 경제정책을 설명했다.

이번 포럼은 지역 경제 여건과 주요 정책 과제를 공유하고 기업 현장의 다양한 의견을 시정에 반영하기 위해 마련됐다. 

행사에는 고양상공회의소를 비롯한 지역 기업 대표와 중부대학교, 동국대학교 BMC캠퍼스, 한국항공대학교 등 지역 대학 및 연구기관 관계자 70여 명이 참석해 지역경제 발전 방안에 대한 다양한 의견을 나눴다.

민 시장은 이날 기업활동 여건 개선과 산업 기반 확충, 투자환경 조성 등 고양시가 추진 중인 주요 경제정책을 소개하며 기업 경쟁력 강화와 지속 가능한 성장 기반 마련을 위한 시의 추진 방향을 설명했다. 

이어진 질의응답에서는 기업 경영환경 개선, 실효성 있는 기업지원 정책 확대, 미래 산업 기반 조성, 지역 내 일자리 정보 공유와 홍보 강화 등 다양한 현안이 논의됐으며, 참석자들은 현장에서 겪는 애로사항과 정책 제안을 가감 없이 전달했다.

고양시는 이날 제시된 의견들을 향후 경제정책 수립과 사업 추진 과정에서 면밀히 검토해 실질적인 정책으로 연결해 나간다는 방침이다.
