경기도 파주시가 와동동 아파트 화재로 삶의 터전을 잃은 이재민들의 조속한 일상 회복을 위해 신속한 임시주거 지원과 현장 중심의 대응에 나섰다.

파주시는 지난 7일 와동동의 한 아파트에서 발생한 화재로 주거가 어려워진 주민들을 위해 야당역 인근 '파크뷰테라스'를 긴급 임시주거시설로 지정하고 이재민 보호에 착수했다고 밝혔다.

현재 화재 피해 가구와 정전으로 거주가 불가능해진 3가구를 포함해 총 21가구 58명이 임시거처에 입소를 마쳤다.

시는 화재와 정전으로 갑작스럽게 생활 터전을 잃은 주민들의 불편을 최소화하기 위해 응급·개별구호세트를 신속히 지급했다. 

구호세트에는 생필품과 위생용품, 담요 등이 담겼으며, 입소 당일부터 식사를 해결할 수 있도록 식료품도 함께 지원해 이재민들의 생활 안정에 힘을 보탰다.
