경기도파주교육지원청이 여는 이번 1:1 컨설팅은 '2027학년도 파주시 대학진학박람회' 프로그램의 하나로 진행된다.

행사 장소는 운정행복센터 2층 다목적체육관인 알찬마루에서 8월 8일 오후 1시부터 5시까지 진행되며, 미리 신청서를 낸 파주 지역 고3 학생과 학부모만 참여할 수 있다.

파주교육지원청 측은 고교학점제가 본격 도입되면서 과목을 어떻게 고르고 학업을 어떻게 설계하느냐가 대입 결과를 좌우하는 요소로 떠올랐다고 설명했으며 특히 지역마다 다른 진학 정보 접근성을 균등하게 맞추고, 개인별 상황에 맞춘 지원망을 만들기 위해 이번 자리를 준비했다고 밝혔다.

경기도 소속 대입진학지도 리더교사와 한국대학교육협의회 상담교사를 포함해 진학 전문가 33명이 나서며 이들은 모두 30개의 부스를 나눠 맡아 학생 180명과 만날 예정이다.

부스별 상담 주제는 네 가지로 짜여있고  ①개인 맞춤형 학업 계획 및 부족한 과목 학습법 ②고교학점제 교육과정에 발맞춘 전공·과목 선택 요령 ③각 대학의 모집요강 해석과 지원 전략 ④실전 감각을 키우는 모의면접이다. 

그리고 여기에 수시·정시는 물론 농어촌 특별전형, 특성화고 특별전형까지 전형별로 세분화한 조언도 곁들여 학생들이 고를 수 있는 길을 넓혀줄 방침이다.

이번 상담은 대입진학박람회 안에서 열리는 만큼, 대입특강과 대학별 부스 상담 같은 다른 프로그램들과 한데 어우러져 학생과 학부모에게 두루 유용한 정보를 전할 것으로 보인다.

전선아 교육장은 학생 개개인의 진로와 적성을 반영한 상담으로 고교학점제에 발맞춘 학업 설계를 뒷받침하고 공교육 진학지원망을 더 탄탄히 다지겠다는 뜻을 밝혔으며 학생과 학부모가 믿고 찾을 수 있는 현장 밀착형 진학 지원을 앞으로도 넓혀가겠다고 덧붙였다.

College Admissions Counseling Center for High School Seniors to Open in Paju

This 1:1 consulting session, organized by the Gyeonggi-Paju Office of Education, will be held as part of the '2027 Paju College Admissions Fair' program.

The event will take place at Alchan Maru, a multi-purpose gymnasium on the second floor of the Unjeong Happiness Center, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on August 8. Participation is limited to high school seniors and parents from the Paju region who have submitted an application in advance.

The Paju Office of Education explained that with the full-scale introduction of the High School Credit System, how subjects are selected and how academic studies are planned have emerged as factors determining college admission results. They stated that this event was prepared specifically to equalize access to college admissions information, which varies by region, and to create a support network tailored to individual circumstances. Thirty-three college admissions experts, including leading guidance teachers from Gyeonggi Province and counselors from the Korean Council for University Education, will participate. They will manage a total of 30 booths and are scheduled to meet with 180 students.

The counseling topics for each booth are organized into four categories: ① personalized academic planning and study methods for weak subjects; ② tips for selecting majors and subjects aligned with the High School Credit System curriculum; ③ interpretation of university admission guidelines and application strategies; and ④ mock interviews to build practical experience.

In addition, the plan is to broaden the pathways available to students by providing detailed advice categorized by admission type—including early and regular admissions, as well as special admissions for rural and fishing communities and specialized high schools.

As this counseling session is being held within the College Admissions Fair, it is expected to integrate with other programs, such as special admissions lectures and individual university booth consultations, to deliver comprehensively useful information to both students and parents. Superintendent Jeon Seon-ah expressed her intention to support academic planning aligned with the high school credit system through counseling that reflects each student's career path and aptitude, and to further solidify the public education college admission support network. She added that she would continue to expand field-oriented college admission support that students and parents can trust and rely on.
