파주시는 오는 16일까지 ‘2026년 3단계 공공근로사업’ 참여자 156명을 모집한다고 밝혔다. 

이번 모집 인원은 직전 2단계 사업보다 10명 늘어난 규모로, 취업취약계층에게 한시적 일자리를 제공해 재취업의 발판을 마련하고 지역경제 활성화를 지원하기 위해 추진된다.

공공근로사업은 장기실직자와 경력단절여성, 청년, 중장년 등 구직에 어려움을 겪는 시민들에게 공공 분야 일자리를 제공하는 사업이다. 

파주시는 이번 3단계 사업에서 공공서비스, 전산화, 환경정비 등 3개 분야 151개 사업에 총 156명을 배치할 계획이다.

최종 선발된 참여자들은 오는 9월 1일부터 12월 24일까지 각 사업장에 배치돼 근무하게 된다. 

근무자는 시간당 1만2,070원의 임금을 받으며, 4대 보험 가입과 주휴수당, 연차 유급휴일 등 근로기준법에 따른 근로조건이 적용된다.

신청 대상은 사업 시작일 기준 18세 이상 파주시민으로, 가구소득이 기준중위소득 70% 이하이고 재산이 4억 원 이하인 취업취약계층이다. 

특히 이번 사업은 파주시에 등록된 외국인까지 신청 대상을 확대해 보다 많은 주민들이 참여할 수 있도록 했다.

참여를 희망하는 시민은 모집 기간 내 거주지 관할 행정복지센터를 방문해 신청서와 구비서류를 제출하면 된다. 

최종 선발 결과는 심사를 거쳐 8월 말 개별 통보될 예정이다.

윤은주 파주시 민생경제과장은 “고유가와 고환율 등으로 시민들의 경제적 어려움이 계속되고 있는 만큼 이번 공공근로사업이 가계에 실질적인 도움이 되기를 바란다”며 “취업취약계층의 재취업 기회를 넓히고 침체된 지역 민생경제에 활력을 불어넣는 계기가 될 수 있도록 사업 추진에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
