참석자들은 장마 기간 비상근무 체계 운영과 24시간 상황 모니터링, 신속한 비상소집 체계를 점검하는 한편, 지하차도 진입 차단시설과 침수 취약지역 빗물받이 등 배수시설에 대한 선제적 정비 방안을 논의했다. 

또한 하천변 산책로 출입 통제, 급경사지와 녹지대 붕괴 우려 지역에 대한 예찰 활동을 강화하고, 시청과 구청, 동 행정복지센터 간 실시간 상황 공유 체계를 구축해 재난 대응의 효율성을 높이기로 했다.
