파주시청소년수련관이 파주에너지서비스의 지정기탁 사업 지원을 받아 지역 내 소규모 초등학교 학생과 파주 북부권 아동을 위한 맞춤형 성장지원 프로그램 ‘ON&ON’을 본격 추진하며 청소년들의 건강한 성장을 지원하고 있다.

이번 사업은 파주에너지서비스가 지역사회 공헌 활동의 일환으로 마련한 지정기탁 기금을 기반으로 운영된다.

단순한 후원에 그치지 않고 교육과 체험 프로그램을 지속적으로 연계해 상대적으로 문화·교육 기회가 부족한 지역 청소년들의 성장과 자립을 돕는 데 초점을 맞췄다.

프로그램은 진로역량 강화 과정인 ‘DREAM ON’과 공동체 활동 중심의 ‘MOVE ON’으로 구성됐다.

‘DREAM ON’은 소규모 초등학교 학생들을 대상으로 진행되는 진로탐색 프로그램이다.

6월부터 영도초등학교와 문산초등학교 학생들을 대상으로 운영이 시작됐으며, 오는 9월에는 월롱초등학교에서도 프로그램이 이어질 예정이며 참여 학생들은 카드 분류 활동과 자기 이해 프로그램, 강점 발견 활동 등을 통해 자신의 적성과 흥미를 탐색하고 미래의 진로 방향을 구체화하는 시간을 갖게 된다.

오는 8월부터는 북부지역 아동들의 공동체 의식 함양을 위한 ‘MOVE ON’ 프로그램도 시작된다.

지역아동센터 3곳이 함께 참여하는 이번 과정은 실내 중심의 방과후 생활에서 벗어나 신체활동과 협동 놀이를 통해 건강한 성장을 지원하기 위해 마련됐으며 참가 청소년들은 순환형 게임과 반응운동 등 다양한 체험활동에 참여하며 신체 능력을 향상시키고 또래들과의 소통과 협력 능력을 키우게 된다.

파주시청소년수련관은 이번 사업이 청소년들의 진로 설계는 물론 건강한 사회성 형성에도 긍정적인 역할을 할 것으로 기대하고 있다.

Paju City Youth Training Center Launches Full-Scale Youth Growth Support Program ‘ON&ON’

With support from Paju Energy Service’s designated donation project, the Paju City Youth Training Center is actively promoting ‘ON&ON,’ a customized growth support program for students at small local elementary schools and children in the northern Paju region, to foster the healthy growth of youth.

This project is operated based on designated donation funds established by Paju Energy Service as part of its community contribution activities.

Going beyond simple sponsorship, the program focuses on helping the growth and independence of local youth—who face relative limitations in cultural and educational opportunities—by continuously linking educational and experiential programs.

The program consists of ‘DREAM ON,’ a course designed to strengthen career competencies, and ‘MOVE ON,’ which centers on community activities.

‘DREAM ON’ is a career exploration program conducted for students at small elementary schools. The program began in June for students at Yeongdo Elementary School and Munsan Elementary School, and is scheduled to continue at Wolong Elementary School this coming September. Through activities such as card sorting, self-understanding programs, and strength discovery, participating students will have the opportunity to explore their aptitudes and interests and concretize their future career paths.

Starting this August, the ‘MOVE ON’ program will also begin to foster a sense of community among children in the northern region.
