파주시 금촌3동에서 지역 어르신들을 위한 따뜻한 나눔의 장이 마련됐다.

금촌3동 행정복지센터는 지난 10일 행정복지센터 광장에서 지역 어르신 300여 명을 초청해 경로잔치를 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 행사는 금촌3동 새마을지도자부녀회가 주관했으며, 지역사회를 위해 헌신해 온 어르신들에게 감사의 마음을 전하고 건강과 행복을 기원하기 위해 마련됐다.

이날 행사에서는 부녀회원들이 이른 아침부터 정성껏 준비한 삼계탕이 어르신들에게 제공됐다. 

무더운 여름을 앞두고 마련된 보양식은 참석자들의 큰 호응을 얻으며 훈훈한 분위기를 더했다.

행사의 흥을 돋운 것은 술이홀색소폰윈드앙상블의 재능기부 공연이었다. 

아름다운 색소폰 선율이 행사장에 울려 퍼지자 어르신들은 박수와 환호로 화답하며 즐거운 시간을 보냈다. 

오랜만에 이웃들과 한자리에 모인 어르신들은 식사와 공연을 함께 즐기며 뜻깊은 추억을 만들었다.

이번 경로잔치는 지역 단체들의 자발적인 봉사와 협력이 더해져 의미를 더했다. 

새마을지도자부녀회는 행사 기획부터 음식 준비, 현장 정리까지 전 과정을 맡아 경로효친의 정신을 실천했으며, 통장협의회는 어르신들의 이동을 돕고 상차림을 지원하는 등 행사 운영 전반에 힘을 보탰다.

금촌3동 행정복지센터와 금촌3동 지역사회보장협의체는 행사장을 찾은 어르신들에게 여름철 야외활동 시 활용할 수 있는 냉감 토시를 배부했다. 

아울러 복지 사각지대에 놓인 이웃을 발굴하기 위한 캠페인도 함께 진행해 지역 복지 안전망 강화에 나섰다.

최기순 금촌3동 새마을지도자부녀회장은 “작은 정성이지만 어르신들께 감사의 마음을 전할 수 있어 기쁘다”며 “앞으로도 김치 담그기 봉사와 사랑의 쌀 전달 등 다양한 나눔 활동을 지속적으로 이어가겠다”고 말했다.

전종고 금촌3동장은 “바쁜 일정 속에서도 정성을 다해 행사를 준비해 준 새마을지도자부녀회와 통장협의회에 감사드린다”며 “어르신들이 존중받고 소외되지 않는 따뜻한 지역사회를 만들기 위해 다양한 복지사업을 적극 추진하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편 금촌3동은 경로 행사와 노인일자리사업 등 어르신들의 삶의 질 향상과 지역 공동체 활성화를 위한 맞춤형 복지사업을 지속적으로 확대해 나갈 계획이다.
