파주시가 영아와 부모가 함께 자연 속에서 교감하며 소중한 추억을 만들 수 있는 특별한 놀이 프로그램을 마련해 큰 호응을 얻었다.

파주시와 파주시 어린이집연합회는 최근 임진각 평화누리 잔디마당에서 부모 참여 프로그램인 ‘우리 아이 첫 놀이수업, 함께 크는 하루’를 성황리에 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 관내 가정어린이집에 재원 중인 영아와 학부모 등 약 1,500명이 참여한 가운데 진행됐다.

영아기의 발달 특성을 고려한 맞춤형 놀이 체험을 통해 아이와 부모가 일상에서 벗어나 자연 속에서 함께 시간을 보내며 정서적 유대감을 높일 수 있도록 기획됐다.

행사가 열린 임진각 평화누리 잔디마당에는 다양한 체험 공간이 마련됐다.

 아이들은 미꾸라지 잡기, 물풍선 던지기, 물감 놀이 등 오감을 자극하는 놀이 프로그램에 참여하며 자연스럽게 감각을 익히고 신체 활동을 즐겼다. 

또한 자연물 열쇠고리 만들기와 동물 교감 체험을 통해 자연의 소중함을 배우고 생명과 교감하는 시간을 가졌다.

행사장에서는 풍선쇼와 비눗방울 쇼 등 어린이들의 호기심을 자극하는 공연도 함께 진행돼 가족들의 큰 호응을 얻었다. 

참가한 한 학부모는 “자연 속에서 아이가 마음껏 만지고 느끼며 뛰어노는 모습을 보니 매우 뜻깊었다”며 “아이뿐 아니라 부모에게도 힐링이 되는 시간이었다”고 소감을 전했다.

행사의 성공적인 운영 뒤에는 보육 현장의 헌신도 있었다. 

가정어린이집 원장과 보육 교직원들은 자발적으로 안전 관리와 행사 진행을 지원하며 참가자들이 안전하게 프로그램을 즐길 수 있도록 힘을 보탰다. 

행사에 참여한 가족들 또한 종료 후 머문 자리를 스스로 정리하고 쓰레기를 자율적으로 수거하는 등 성숙한 시민 의식을 보여주며 행사의 의미를 더했다.

김미화 파주시 어린이집연합회 가정분과장은 “우리 영아들이 푸른 자연 속에서 마음껏 뛰어놀며 환하게 웃을 수 있는 시간을 선물하고 싶었다”며 “앞으로도 가정어린이집만의 따뜻하고 세심한 보육 가치를 지역사회와 지속적으로 공유해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
