파주시가 천재 작곡가 볼프강 아마데우스 모차르트 탄생 270주년을 기념해 시민들을 위한 특별한 클래식 음악극 무대를 마련한다.

파주시는 오는  20일 오후 4시 30분 운정행복센터 대공연장에서 파주시립소년소녀합창단 제5회 정기연주회 ‘모차르트 인 파주(Mozart in Paju)’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 정기연주회는 단순한 합창 공연을 넘어 모차르트의 삶과 음악적 여정을 한 편의 이야기로 풀어낸 음악극 형식으로 진행된다. 

시립소년소녀합창단의 맑고 순수한 목소리와 전문 연주자들의 협연, 다채로운 안무가 어우러져 관객들에게 더욱 풍성한 무대를 선사할 예정이다.

공연은 모차르트의 생애를 따라가며 대표 작품들을 감상할 수 있도록 구성됐다. 

서곡으로는 ‘피아노 소나타 제16번’이 연주되며, 이탈리아 시기를 대표하는 곡으로는 ‘할렐루야’가 무대에 오른다. 

이어 빈 시기를 상징하는 경쾌한 ‘터키 행진곡’과 함께 말기 작품 및 오페라 명곡인 오페라 「마술피리」 중 ‘밤의 여왕 아리아’, ‘봄을 향한 그리움’ 등이 관객들을 만난다.

특히 이번 공연은 합창과 기악 연주, 안무를 결합한 입체적인 연출을 통해 모차르트 음악의 아름다움과 감동을 더욱 생생하게 전달할 것으로 기대를 모으고 있다.

유초자 파주시 문화예술과장은 “단원들이 뜨거운 열정과 정성으로 준비한 공연인 만큼 시대를 넘어 사랑받는 모차르트의 음악을 통해 시민들이 감동과 희망을 나누는 뜻깊은 시간이 되길 바란다”며 “많은 시민들의 관심과 응원을 부탁드린다”고 말했다.

이번 공연은 전석 무료 지정좌석제로 운영되며, 관람을 희망하는 시민은 6월 8일 오후 2시부터 파주문화재단 누리집을 통해 선착순으로 예매할 수 있다.
