식사동 데이터센터 문제에 대해서도 주민 안전을 최우선 가치로 두겠다는 입장을 분명히 했다. 

이동환 후보는 현재 고양시 내에 총 9개소의 데이터센터가 건립 또는 추진 중이라는 점을 언급하며, 남아 있는 인허가 과정에서 소음과 전자파, 열섬현상, 녹지 훼손 등 주민 우려 사항을 법령 범위 내에서 철저히 재점검하겠다고 강조했다.

식사~대곡 간 정규 버스 노선 신설에 대해서는 출퇴근 시간대 ‘똑버스’ 운행 안정성과 배차 간격 개선을 우선 추진한 뒤 중장기적으로 정규 노선 도입을 검토하겠다는 입장을 밝혔다.
