고양특례시가 가정의 달을 맞아 아동과 양육자가 함께 따뜻한 추억을 만들 수 있는 특별한 가족 프로그램을 마련했다.

고양시는 지난 18일 고양시청 백석 별관에서 드림스타트 가족 프로그램 ‘사랑을 굽는 시간, 우리 가족 케이크’를 성공적으로 운영했다고 밝혔다.

이번 프로그램은 가족이 함께 케이크를 만들며 자연스럽게 소통하고 유대감을 높일 수 있도록 기획됐다.

드림스타트 공모를 통해 선정된 아동과 양육자 등 총 70명이 참여해 의미를 더했다.

이날 참가자들은 전문 강사의 지도 아래 신선한 과일과 생크림을 활용해 각 가정만의 개성이 담긴 케이크를 직접 만들었다. 

가족들은 함께 생크림을 바르고 과일을 장식하며 웃음 가득한 시간을 보냈고, 아이들은 자신만의 작품을 완성하는 성취감을 느꼈다.

프로그램에 참여한 한 양육자는 “평소 바쁜 일상 때문에 아이와 충분히 대화할 시간이 부족했는데, 함께 케이크를 만들며 자연스럽게 이야기를 나눌 수 있어 뜻깊었다”며 “오랜만에 가족 모두가 행복한 시간을 보냈다”고 소감을 전했다.

이번 행사는 단순한 체험 활동을 넘어 가족 간 정서적 교감을 높이고, 양육자에게는 힐링의 시간을 제공했다는 점에서 참가자들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.

고양시 관계자는 “가정의 달을 맞아 가족이 함께 웃고 소통할 수 있는 뜻깊은 자리를 마련하게 돼 기쁘다”며 “앞으로도 아동과 가족이 함께 성장할 수 있도록 시민들이 체감할 수 있는 맞춤형 프로그램을 지속 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 고양시 드림스타트는 12세 이하 취약계층 아동과 가족, 임산부를 대상으로 맞춤형 사례관리와 통합 서비스를 제공하는 복지사업이다.
