경기도파주교육지원청이 이달 23일 파주 출판단지 지지향을 무대로 지역 중·고등학생과 학부모를 위한 대규모 진학 지원 행사를 펼친다.

고교학점제 전면 도입 시대를 맞아 학생 스스로 미래를 설계할 수 있도록 과목 선택 요령과 입시 대비 전략을 한자리에서 챙겨주겠다는 취지이며 지역에 따라 진학 정보가 달라지는 불균형을 해소해 공교육 신뢰 회복에도 기여하겠다는 목표를 담고 있다.

강의는 지지향 대회의실에서 오전·오후로 나뉘어 열린다. 

오전(10:00~11:30)에는 2022 개정 교육과정과 고교학점제의 기본 틀을 짚어주는 내용으로 구성되며, 오후(13:30~15:30)에는 달라진 입시 환경 속 전형 유형별 특성과 구체적인 수험 전략 수립 방법을 중점적으로 다룬다.

같은 시각 다목적홀에서는 전문 상담 공간이 별도로 열리며 경기도교육청이 선발한 대입진학지도 리더교사와 대교협 소속 상담교사 등 30명이 팀을 이뤄 최대 180명의 학생과 일대일로 마주 앉는다. 

고1·2는 앞으로 선택할 과목 구성과 진로 연계 학습 로드맵을 함께 짜보고, 고3은 지원 대학의 모집 요강을 꼼꼼히 들여다보거나 면접을 미리 경험해볼 수 있다.

전선아 교육장은 "저마다 다른 꿈을 가진 학생들이 자신에게 맞는 방향을 찾아갈 수 있도록 실질적으로 뒷받침하는 자리가 될 것"이라며 "파주 어느 지역에 살더라도 교육 기회에서 뒤처지지 않도록 현장을 직접 찾아가는 밀착 지원을 이어가겠다"고 강조했다.

The Gyeonggi-Paju Office of Education will host a large-scale college admissions support event for local middle and high school students and their parents on the 23rd of this month, using Jijihyang in the Paju Publishing Complex as the venue.

With the full implementation of the High School Credit System, the event aims to provide students with comprehensive guidance on subject selection and entrance exam preparation strategies in one place, enabling them to design their own futures. It also seeks to contribute to restoring trust in public education by resolving the imbalance caused by varying college admissions information across different regions.

The lectures will be held in the main conference room of Jijihyang, divided into morning and afternoon sessions.

The morning session (10:00–11:30) will cover the basic framework of the 2022 revised curriculum and the High School Credit System, while the afternoon session (1:30–15:30) will focus on the characteristics of different admission types within the changed admissions environment and methods for establishing specific exam strategies. At the same time, a separate professional counseling space opens in the multi-purpose hall. Teams of 30 teachers, including college guidance leaders selected by the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education and counselors from the Korean Council for University Education, will sit face-to-face with up to 180 students.

High school freshmen and sophomores will work together to plan their future subject choices and career-linked learning roadmaps, while high school seniors can thoroughly examine the admission guidelines of their target universities or experience interviews in advance.

Superintendent Jeon Seon-ah emphasized, "This will be an opportunity to provide practical support so that students with diverse dreams can find the direction that suits them," adding, "We will continue to provide close support by visiting the field directly so that no matter where students live in Paju, they do not fall behind in educational opportunities."
