파주시 문산도서관이 한국언론진흥재단이 추진하는 미디어교육 지원사업과 연계해 지역 어르신들을 위한 ‘시니어 독서 영상 제작 교실’을 마련했다.

이번 프로그램은 오는 5월 19일부터 6월 4일까지 매주 화요일과 목요일 오전 10시에 진행되며, 독서 활동과 미디어 활용 능력을 함께 익힐 수 있는 체험형 교육으로 운영된다.

참여자들은 뉴스와 정보 이해 관련 도서를 읽고 독서 소감을 영상 콘텐츠로 제작하는 과정을 경험하게 되며 이를 통해 다양한 매체 정보를 올바르게 이해하고 판단하는 능력을 키울 수 있도록 교육이 구성됐다.

교육은 총 6회차로 진행되며 한국언론진흥재단 소속 고은진 강사가 실습 중심 수업을 맡는다.

수업에서는 스마트폰 촬영 기초를 비롯해 영상 시나리오 구성, 편집 방법 등 영상 제작 전반을 단계적으로 배울 수 있고 특히 고령층이 쉽게 따라올 수 있도록 맞춤형 방식으로 진행되며, 마지막 시간에는 수강생들이 완성한 영상을 함께 감상하는 자리도 마련될 예정이다.

이인숙 문산도서관장은 “어르신들이 디지털 환경과 미디어를 보다 친숙하게 접하고 자신의 생각을 직접 표현해 보는 뜻깊은 시간이 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.

Munsan Library Runs Reading Video Production Program for Seniors

Paju City’s Munsan Library has organized a "Senior Reading Video Production Class" for local seniors in conjunction with a media education support project promoted by the Korea Press Foundation.

This program will run every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:00 AM from May 19 to June 4 and is designed as an experiential education course that combines reading activities with media literacy skills.

Participants will experience the process of reading books related to news and information comprehension and producing video content based on their reading impressions. The curriculum is structured to help participants develop the ability to correctly understand and evaluate information from various media.

The course consists of a total of six sessions, led by Go Eun-jin, an instructor affiliated with the Korea Press Foundation, who will conduct the practice-oriented classes.
