고양특례시가 학생들에게 도심 속 자연을 체험할 수 있는 생태 휴식 공간을 제공하기 위해 ‘2026년 학교숲 조성 사업’을 본격적으로 추진한다. 

시는 올해 사업 대상지인 상탄초등학교를 중심으로 오는 5월부터 6월까지 공사를 진행할 계획이라고 밝혔다.

학교숲 조성 사업은 교내 유휴 공간을 활용해 다양한 수목과 초화류를 식재하고, 산책로와 쉼터를 함께 조성하는 사업이다.
