파주소방서가 대형 재난 발생 시 시민의 생명을 지키기 위한 ‘골든타임’ 확보에 총력을 기울이고 있다.

파주소방서는 지난 28일 오후 2시, 119구조대 및 통일센터 일대에서 ‘2026년 선착구급대 임시의료소 운영 모의상황 훈련 평가’를 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 평가는 경기북부소방재난본부가 관내 11개 소방서를 대상으로 순차적으로 진행하는 평가의 첫 번째 일정으로, 파주소방서가 ‘첫 타자’로 나서 의미를 더했다.

특히 이번 훈련은 화재 대응 모의상황과 병행해 진행되며 실제 재난 현장을 방불케 하는 복합 위기 상황을 재현했다. 

평가의 공정성과 전문성을 확보하기 위해 경기북부소방본부 평가관 2명과 교차평가관 2명 등 총 4명의 전문가가 참여해 100점 만점 기준으로 선착구급대의 대응 역량을 면밀히 점검했다.

현장감 또한 한층 강화됐다. 

이날 훈련에는 파주소방서 구급대원 7명과 함께 두원공과대학교 응급구조학과 학생 10명이 가상 사상자로 참여해 실제 상황과 유사한 환경을 조성했다.

 대원들은 붕괴와 화재가 동시에 발생한 극한 상황을 가정하고, 다수사상자 대응 키트를 활용한 초기 현장 파악과 장비 전개, START 분류법을 통한 환자 중증도 분류, 이송 우선순위 결정, 현장 지휘부와의 실시간 보고 체계 구축 등 핵심 대응 절차를 집중적으로 수행했다.

재난 현장에서 가장 먼저 도착하는 선착구급대의 초동 대응은 사상자의 생존율을 좌우하는 핵심 요소로 꼽힌다. 

이에 파주소방서는 이번 평가를 통해 확인된 강점은 더욱 강화하고, 미흡한 부분은 즉각 보완해 재난 대응 매뉴얼을 지속적으로 고도화할 계획이다.
