고양도시관리공사가 도시재생의 지속 가능성을 높이고 지역 공동체와의 협력을 강화하기 위한 새로운 사회공헌 모델을 선보였다.

공사는 지난 4월 16일부터 27일까지 약 2주간, 고양시 내 도시재생 주민조직 3곳과 협력해 ‘지역사회 공헌 결합형 봉사활동’을 진행했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 활동은 기존의 일회성 지원 방식에서 벗어나, 도시재생 사업 종료 이후에도 주민 스스로 마을을 가꿀 수 있도록 자생력을 키우는 데 초점을 맞췄다.

이어 화전동에서는 지역 어르신들을 위한 식사 나눔 봉사를 통해 공동체의 온기를 더했다.
