고양소방서가 지난 16일 열린 '경기북부 도민 심폐소생술 경연대회'에서 일반부, 청소년부, 외국인부 3개 부문을 모두 석권하며 3관왕을 달성했다.

이번 대회는 도민들의 심폐소생술 시행률을 높이고 응급상황 대응 능력을 강화해 생명 존중 문화를 확산하기 위해 마련됐다.

고양소방서 대표로 출전한 3개 팀은 각 부문에서 두드러진 활약을 펼쳤으며 일반부에서는 30기갑여단 115기보대대 '백비호팀'이 탄탄한 조직력으로 심사위원들의 높은 평가를 받았다. 

청소년부에서는 성사청소년문화의집 '노을CPR히어로즈팀'이 몰입감 있는 경연으로 눈길을 끌었으며, 외국인부에서는 항공대학교 외국인 학생들로 구성된 '하늘팀'이 정확한 술기 수행으로 최우수의 영예를 안았다.

고양소방서는 전 부문에 걸쳐 체계적인 팀워크와 정확한 술기 수행으로 심사위원들로부터 최고 점수를 획득했으며 이번 성과는 국적과 세대를 아우르는 소방안전 교육 체계의 우수성을 입증한 것으로 평가된다.

박기완 고양소방서장은 "이번 성과는 꾸준한 교육과 훈련의 결과"라며 "앞으로도 시민 누구나 위급 상황에서 생명을 지킬 수 있도록 심폐소생술 교육을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다"고 밝혔다.
