파주소방서는 16일 본부 대강당에서 개최된 2026년 경기북부 도민 심폐소생술 경연대회에 출전하여 전 부문 입상이라는 성과를 거뒀다.

이번 대회에서 파주소방서는 특별부 최우수상, 학생·청소년부 우수상, 일반부 장려상을 각각 수상했다.

이번 대회는 응급처치의 중요성을 알리고 도민의 심폐소생술 시행률을 높이기 위해 마련되었고 경기북부 11개 소방서 대표팀들은 학생·청소년부, 대학·일반부, 특별부로 나뉘어 심정지 상황을 주제로 한 퍼포먼스형 심폐소생술을 선보였으며, 전문가 5명이 무대 표현과 숙련도를 종합 심사했다.

파주소방서는 지난해 일반부 전국 1위인 대통령상 수상과 전 부문 최우수상 석권에 이어 올해도 전 부문 입상을 기록하며 2년 연속 우수한 성적을 이어갔다. 

특히 장애인과 어르신, 외국인 등 사회적 약자가 참여하는 특별부에서의 수상은 지역 내 다양한 계층을 아우르는 폭넓은 교육 활동의 결과로 평가받는다.

심정지 환자 발생 시 구급대 도착 전 골든타임인 4분 이내에 최초 목격자가 시행하는 심폐소생술은 생존율을 결정짓는 핵심 요소이며 참가자들이 경연을 준비하며 반복 훈련한 과정과 이를 알리는 퍼포먼스는 지역 사회 전체의 응급 대응 역량을 높이는 효과로 이어진다.

Paju Fire Station participated in the 2026 Northern Gyeonggi Residents' CPR Contest, held at the headquarters auditorium on the 16th, and achieved the remarkable feat of winning awards in every category.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) performed by the first responder within the "golden time" of four minutes before the arrival of paramedics in the event of cardiac arrest is a critical factor in determining survival rates. The participants' repeated training while preparing for the competition and their performances to promote this knowledge have the effect of enhancing the emergency response capabilities of the entire community.
