경기북부보훈지청은 지난 1월 26일부터 2월 6일까지 관내 11개 시·군 보훈회관을 직접 찾아가는 ‘2026년 보훈사업 설명회’를 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 설명회는 의정부시를 비롯해 양주시, 파주시, 연천군 등 경기북부 11개 시·군 보훈단체 관계자와 회원들을 대상으로 진행됐다.

지청은 현장을 직접 방문해 2026년도 주요 보훈 정책의 추진 방향과 새롭게 변경된 보훈 제도를 상세히 안내했다.

설명회는 단순히 정책을 전달하는 데 그치지 않고, 각 보훈단체의 건의 사항과 궁금증을 해소하는 질의응답 시간을 통해 보훈 가족과 지청 간의 소통과 공감대를 형성하는 방식으로 이루어졌다.

박용주 경기북부보훈지청장은 “관내 11개 시·군을 순회하며 보훈 현장의 생생한 목소리를 직접 들을 수 있었던 뜻깊은 시간이었다”며, “국가 공동체를 위한 ‘특별한 희생’에 대해 ‘특별한 보상’이 실현될 수 있도록, ‘모두의 보훈’을 실천하는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 강조했다.
