파주시가 장애아동 가족의 양육 부담을 덜어주기 위해 중증 장애아동 돌봄서비스 지원 시간을 대폭 늘린다.

시는 보건복지부가 추진하는 장애아돌봄서비스 지원사업의 연간 지원 시간을 기존 1,080시간에서 1,200시간으로 120시간 확대한다고 밝혔다.

장애아돌봄서비스는 장애아동 양육 가정에 전문 돌보미를 파견해 아동의 학습과 놀이 활동, 신변 보호, 외출 및 이동 지원 등 다양한 서비스를 제공하는 사업이다. 

이를 통해 보호자의 양육 부담을 경감하고 사회활동 참여 기회를 넓히는 것이 목적이다.

지원 대상은 장애아와 생계·주거를 같이하는 가정의 18세 미만 중증(장애 정도가 심한) 장애아동이다.

가구 소득에 따라 본인부담금에 차등이 있다. 기준 중위소득 120% 이하 가정은 연 1,200시간까지 본인부담금 없이 무료로 서비스를 이용할 수 있다. 

중위소득 120%를 초과하는 가정도 연 1,200시간까지 이용 가능하지만, 시간당 5,120원의 본인부담금을 내야 한다.

다만 장애인활동지원서비스나 아이돌봄서비스 등 유사 서비스를 이용 중인 경우는 지원 대상에서 제외된다.

단, 청소년 발달장애인 방과후활동서비스를 이용하는 중증 발달장애 아동은 예외적으로 중복 이용이 가능하다.

신청을 원하는 가정은 주소지 관할 행정복지센터를 방문하거나 복지로 누리집을 통해 수시로 신청할 수 있다.
