한국농어촌공사 고양지사가 고령농업인의 안정적인 노후생활을 위해 농지연금사업비 72억원을 확보했다고 밝혔다.

농지연금은 도입 이후 고령농업인들의 폭넓은 호응을 받으며 노후생활의 든든한 버팀목 역할을 하고 있다. 

현재 고양지사는 매월 400여명의 가입자에게 총 6억3천2백만원의 연금을 지급하고 있다.

농지연금은 만 60세 이상이면서 영농경력 5년 이상인 농업인이 대상이다. 

소유 농지가 공부상 전·답·과수원으로 분류되어 있고 실제 영농에 이용 중이면 가입할 수 있다.
