파주소방서가 15일 파주시민회관 대공연장에서 '2026년 파주소방서 의용소방대 대장 합동 이·취임식'을 개최하고 새로운 출발을 알렸다.

이날 행사는 감사장 및 공로패 수여, 취임사, 축사, 단체 기념촬영 순으로 진행됐으며, 참석한 내빈과 대원들은 의용소방대의 새로운 도약을 함께 다짐하는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌다.

조영린 법원남성의용소방대 대장과 김은란 금촌여성의용소방대 대장은 이임사를 통해 그간의 소회를 밝혔다.

조영린 전 대장은 "대원들과 함께 지역을 지켜온 시간은 큰 영광이었다"며 "직책은 내려놓지만 '의용'의 마음은 끝까지 함께하겠다"고 말했다. 

김은란 전 대장 역시 지역 안전을 위해 헌신해온 시간에 대한 감사와 애정을 전했다.

새롭게 취임한 이일용 광탄남성의용소방대 대장과 김정숙 파주혼성의용소방대 대장은 무거운 책임감과 함께 각오를 다졌다.

이일용 신임 대장은 "대장이라는 책임을 무겁게 받아들이며, 예방과 훈련 활동을 강화해 신뢰받는 의용소방대가 되겠다"고 밝혔다. 

김정숙 신임 대장도 같은 뜻을 함께하며 지역사회를 위한 헌신을 약속했다.

김명찬 파주소방서장은 축사에서 "대장직의 이양은 새로운 출발이자, 사명을 이어가는 과정"이라며 "세대는 바뀌었지만 지역을 위한 헌신은 계속돼야 한다"고 강조했다.

이어 "앞으로도 소방서와 의용소방대가 하나 돼 시민의 생명과 안전을 지켜가자"고 당부하며, 양 조직 간 긴밀한 협력의 중요성을 역설했다.

파주소방서는 앞으로도 의용소방대와의 협력을 통해 화재 예방, 생활안전 활동, 재난 대응 등 지역사회 안전망을 더욱 공고히 해나갈 계획이다.
