파주시청소년재단 교하청소년문화의집은 지난 12월 27일 교하 지역 어르신들을 위한 나눔 행사 청소년 온기 배달부: 따뜻함을 배달해요를 운영했다.

이번 행사는 경제적으로 어려움을 겪는 지역 어르신들에게 청소년들이 지역사회 구성원으로서 역할을 실천하고 나눔을 통해 온정을 전달하고자 마련됐으며 겨울철 대표 음식인 떡국을 매개로 따뜻한 식사를 제공하고, 청소년들이 바구니 제작부터 전달까지 전 과정에 참여하며 세대 간 소통과 배려의 가치를 확산하는 데 의미를 두었다.

행사는 교하청소년문화의집 다목적강당에서 진행됐다.

참여 청소년들은 어르신들께 전할 그림 카드와 응원 편지를 직접 작성하며 새해 인사와 희망의 메시지를 담았으며 이어 진행된 떡국 바구니 제작 활동에서는 떡국 떡, 사골육수, 과일, 보온 핫팩과 직접 쓴 카드를 함께 동봉했다.

제작된 떡국 바구니는 지역 어르신 20가구에 전달됐고 청소년들은 온기 배달부가 되어 어르신 가정을 직접 방문해 바구니를 전달하고 인사를 나누는 봉사 활동을 펼쳤다.
