고양특례시 일산서구 주엽2동 주민자치회는 지난 8일 경기도 수원시 일대에서 벤치마킹 워크숍을 열었다.

이번 워크숍은 삼성이노베이션뮤지엄(SIM) 견학 및 체험과 화성행궁 탐방으로 구성되었다.

주민자치회 위원들은 삼성이노베이션뮤지엄에서 전자산업의 발달사를 통해 혁신의 의미를 파악하고, 이를 바탕으로 미래 지향적인 주민자치 모델을 찾기 위한 시간을 가졌으며 이어서 화성행궁을 찾아 정조의 개혁 정신과 지방자치 통치 철학에 대해 배웠다.

서영국 주엽2동 주민자치회장은 “삼성이노베이션뮤지엄에서는 미래를, 화성행궁에서는 과거를 배운 뜻깊은 하루였다”며, “이번 워크숍에서 얻은 내용을 내년 주민자치회 사업 운영에 적극적으로 활용하도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
