파주시는 경기도가 실시한 ‘2025년 토지정보 종합평가’에서 지적재조사 분야 우수기관으로 선정돼 경기도지사 기관 표창을 받게 됐다고 10일 밝혔다.

경기도는 도내 31개 시·군을 대상으로 지적재조사사업 추진 실적, 사업 홍보, 특수 시책, 정책 기여도 등 10개 항목을 평가해 우수기관을 선정하고 있다. 

파주시는 자체 예산 확보와 사업 기간 단축 등에서 높은 평가를 받으며 우수기관 반열에 올랐으며 앞서 2024년에도 국토교통부가 주관한 지적재조사사업 평가에서 우수기관으로 선정된 바 있어, 중앙정부와 광역자치단체로부터 연이어 사업 성과를 인정받게 됐다.

‘지적재조사사업’은 지적공부에 등록된 토지 경계와 실제 이용 현황이 일치하지 않는 문제를 해소하고, 종이 형태의 기존 지적을 디지털 지적으로 전환하기 위한 국가사업이며 토지 경계 분쟁을 줄이고, 정확한 토지정보를 제공하기 위한 핵심 기반 사업으로 평가된다.

파주시는 2012년 「지적재조사에 관한 특별법」 제정 이후 조리읍 삼릉·전나무골지구를 시작으로 현재까지 31개 지구, 총 9,594필지에 대한 사업을 완료했고 현재도 6개 지구 917필지에 대해 사업을 진행 중이며, 2026년에는 5개 지구 951필지를 추가 선정해 2027년까지 순차적으로 사업을 추진할 계획이다.
