파주소방서는 지난 8일 경기도의료원 파주병원을 방문해 중증 응급환자의 신속하고 안전한 이송체계 구축을 위한 협력 방안을 논의했다.

이번 방문은 파주시 내 유일한 응급의료센터인 파주병원과 함께 119구급대가 이송하는 중증응급환자(Pre-KTAS 1·2)의 우선 수용 방안과 환자 초기 평가·응급진료 후 필요한 경우 상급 의료기관으로의 연계이송 체계를 강화하기 위해 추진됐다.

이날 논의에는 파주소방서장을 비롯한 소방 관계자 3명과 파주병원장, 응급의료센터장이 참석했다. 

참석자들은 중증환자 발생 시 골든타임을 최대한 확보할 수 있도록 체계적인 이송 절차와 실무 협력 방안에 대해 의견을 나눴으며, 재난·응급 상황에서 상호 긴밀한 공조체계를 구축하기로 뜻을 모았다.

파주소방서장은 “응급환자의 생명을 지키는 데에는 병원과 119의 협력이 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “앞으로도 의료기관과의 소통을 지속적으로 강화해 안정적인 응급환자 이송체계를 만들어 나가겠다”고 말했다.
