한국농어촌공사 고양지사가 연말을 맞아 지역사회와 함께하는 훈훈한 나눔을 실천해 귀감이 되고 있다.

고양지사는 3일 고양시일산종합사회복지관과 함께 일산지역 취약계층 30여 가정에 김치를 전달하는 봉사활동을 펼쳤다.

이날 봉사활동에는 유승호 지사장을 비롯한 직원들이 직접 참여해 각 가정을 방문하며 따뜻한 온정을 나눴다.

특히 눈길을 끈 것은 직원들이 자발적으로 차량을 이용해 김치를 배달하며 어려운 이웃들과 직접 소통한 점이다. 

단순히 물품만 전달하는 것이 아니라 안부를 묻고 격려의 말을 건네며 진정성 있는 나눔을 실천했다.

이러한 봉사활동은 일회성에 그치지 않는다. 

고양지사는 2023년부터 고양시일산종합사회복지관에 꾸준히 후원금을 전달하며 지역사회와 동행해왔다. 

이날 김치 나눔은 연중 이어온 후원활동의 연장선으로, 연말 취약계층의 따뜻한 겨울나기를 돕기 위해 마련됐다.

유승호 지사장은 "고양시 일산지역 어려운 이웃에게 큰 힘이 되고 있는 고양시일산종합사회복지관에 감사드린다"며 "앞으로도 지역사회의 일원으로서 지속적으로 도움의 손길을 전하겠다"고 밝혔다.

김치를 받은 한 어르신은 "추운 겨울에 이렇게 찾아와 주시니 마음까지 따뜻해진다"며 "정성스럽게 담근 김치로 올겨울 잘 보낼 수 있을 것 같다"고 고마움을 전했다.
