한국법무보호복지공단 경기북부지부가 사회교육위원회와 함께 보호대상자의 사회복귀를 돕기 위한 사회적응교육을 실시했다.

지난 19일 양주 마장호수에서 열린 이번 교육은 사회교육위원회 이병권 회장을 비롯한 법무보호위원들이 준비와 진행을 맡았으며, 양희철 경기북부지부장과 직원들, 숙식제공대상자들이 참여했다.

이날 행사에서는 예절교육과 다도체험, 자원봉사자와의 교류 등 다양한 프로그램이 진행됐다. 

특히 전통 다도체험을 통해 참여자들이 마음의 안정을 찾고 예의범절을 익히는 시간을 가졌다.

양희철 지부장은 "숙식제공대상자 사회성 향상 교육 등 경기북부지역의 보호대상자 선도 및 재범예방에 지속적으로 힘써주시는 사회교육위원회 위원님들에게 항상 감사한 마음을 전한다"고 말했다.

이병권 회장은 "앞으로도 지속적인 후원 및 활동을 통해 법무보호대상자의 자립에 힘이 되었으면 하고, 사회교육위원회의 활동에도 많은 관심을 부탁드린다"고 소감을 밝혔다.

한편, 한국법무보호복지공단은 범죄로부터 사회복귀를 희망하는 이들에게 숙식 제공, 직업훈련, 취업지원 등을 통해 건강한 사회 구성원으로 자립할 수 있도록 돕고 있다.
