파주시 금촌2동은 지난 13일 관내 의료기관 코키아한방병원과 함께 복지사각지대 해소와 맞춤형 복지 서비스 제공을 위한 찾아가는 금이건강버팀목 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

코키아한방병원은 입원 및 외래 중심의 한방 의료 서비스를 제공하고, 격월로 지역 경로당을 찾아가 무료 한방진료와 건강상담을 진행할 계획이며 이를 통해 정기적인 건강 점검과 예방 중심의 지역사회 건강관리 기반을 강화할 방침이다.

파주시장애인복지관과 고시원장의 제보로 발굴된 위기가정 2건이 코키아한방병원과 연계돼 긴급 입원 조치와 장기요양등급 신청 등 통합지원을 받은 사례로, 복지와 의료 연계가 효과적으로 작동한 사례로 평가된다.
