국제라이온스클럽 354-B지구 10지역이 지역 라이온스클럽 회원 간 네트워크를 강화하고 조직의 통합적 역량을 높이기 위해 개최한 ‘합동월례회 및 한마음 체육대회’가 성황리에 마무리됐다. 

이번 행사에는 지역 내 클럽 회원과 가족 등 다수의 인원이 참여해 봉사 공동체로서의 연대감을 확인했다.

이번 대회는 10지역 김영진 부총재의 슬로건인 △변화하는 라이온 △실천하는 라이온 정신을 실천하는 데 초점을 맞추고, 지역사회 봉사 기반의 지속 가능한 활동 추진을 위한 교류의 장으로 마련됐다.

김영진 부총재는 개회사에서 “이번 행사는 체육 활동을 넘어 라이온 조직의 정체성과 가치를 다시 한 번 확인하는 계기”라며 “승패를 넘어 서로를 격려하는 시간이 되기를 바란다”고 밝혔다. 

윤명호 총재를 비롯한 타지역 부총재, 각 클럽 회장단과 지구임원 등 주요 인사들도 대거 참석해 행사의 무게감을 더했다.

대회는 준비체조를 시작으로 훌라후프 릴레이, 6인 7각, 쌍쌍 캥거루, 단체 줄넘기, 바구니 탑쌓기, 공 굴리기, 대형바톤 릴레이 등 다양한 종목이 이어졌다. 

특히 대형바톤 릴레이는 참가자들이 거대한 바톤을 들고 협업하며 경기를 진행하는 방식으로 현장의 화합 분위기를 극대화했다.

또한 ‘오징어게임’ 콘셉트의 부스 이벤트(공기놀이·제기차기·딱지치기·비석치기·물병세우기)도 진행돼 전世대가 참여할 수 있는 친근한 프로그램으로 호응을 얻었다. 

행사 말미에는 맥주 빨리 마시기 대회와 레크리에이션이 진행됐고, 경품 추첨에서는 삼성 75인치 TV, 공기청정기, 건강검진권, 27인치 모니터 등 고가의 상품이 제공되며 현장을 뜨겁게 달궜다.

이번 행사는 라이온스 조직 내 자발적 참여와 공동체 결속력 강화에 큰 의미를 남겼다는 평가다. 

회원들은 “서로의 존재를 확인하고 봉사와 우정을 공유하는 귀중한 자리였다”고 입을 모았다.
