고양특례시는 지난 11일 한국항공대·동국대 창업보육센터 입주기업과의 소통간담회를 성공적으로 마무리했다고 밝혔다.

이번 간담회는 고양시 창업기업의 중심지인 한국항공대 창업보육센터에서 열렸으며, 이동환 시장이 직접 참석해 입주 기업들의 목소리를 청취했다.

간담회에는 IT, 바이오, 헬스케어, 항공 분야의 18개 입주기업이 참여해 창업 현장의 생생한 경험과 의견을 공유했다. 

주요 참여 기업으로는 ㈜쿼터니언(드론·드론 스테이션 개발), ㈜엔테로바이옴(마이크로바이옴 기반 신약 개발), ㈜케이그린(탄성 바닥재 연구개발), ㈜플랭(산업용 토치 생산), ㈜제이코랩(AI 기반 최적화 엔진 개발) 등이 포함됐다.

간담회에 앞서 ㈜쿼터니언과 ㈜엔테로바이옴은 기업 성장 사례를 발표했다.

 ㈜쿼터니언은 2018년 창업 후 올해 누리호 5차 발사 부탑재 위성에 선정되는 성과를 거두었고, ㈜엔테로바이옴은 장내 미생물을 활용한 치료제 및 신산업 분야 개발을 목표로 라이브러리를 구축, 시리즈C 투자 유치 및 기업 상장을 준비 중이다.

참석한 창업기업 대표들은 창업·벤처기업 육성, 일산테크노밸리 활성화, 바이오 산업 육성, 제품 판로 개척 등 다양한 주제로 고양시 창업기업 발전 방향에 대해 질의했다.

이동환 시장은 “고양시의 제1 목표는 기업 육성과 양질의 일자리 창출”이라며 “일산테크노밸리 개발과 킨텍스 제3전시장, 고양 IP융복합클러스터 조성 등 인프라 확충을 통해 창업기업이 성장하기 좋은 도시를 만들겠다”고 강조했다.

한편, 한국항공대 창업보육센터는 1999년 개소 이후 현재까지 항공 및 제조 분야 중심으로 20개의 기업이 입주해 있는 고양시 대표 창업지원 시설이다.

Goyang Special City announced the successful conclusion of a communication meeting with companies located at the Korea Aerospace University and Dongguk University Startup Incubation Center on the 11th.

Founded in 2018, Quaternion Co., Ltd. was selected to be a satellite for the fifth launch of Nuri this year. Enterobiome Co., Ltd. is currently building a library to develop therapeutics and new industries utilizing gut microbes, and is preparing for Series C investment and an IPO.

The startup representatives in attendance questioned the direction of startup development in Goyang City on a variety of topics, including fostering startups and venture companies, revitalizing Ilsan Techno Valley, fostering the bio industry, and developing product sales channels.

Mayor Lee Dong-hwan emphasized, "Goyang City's top goals are fostering companies and creating quality jobs." He added, "We will create a city conducive to startup growth by expanding infrastructure, including the development of Ilsan Techno Valley, the KINTEX 3rd Exhibition Center, and the Goyang IP Convergence Cluster."

Meanwhile, the Korea Aerospace University Startup Incubation Center, established in 1999, is Goyang City's leading startup support facility, home to 20 companies, primarily in the aviation and manufacturing sectors.
