파주시는 지난 11일 서울문산고속도로㈜로부터 저소득 취약계층을 위한 후원금 500만 원을 기탁받았다고 밝혔다.

이날 전달식에는 김은숙 파주시 복지정책국장과 장우종 서울문산고속도로㈜ 부사장을 비롯한 양 기관 관계자들이 참석해 따뜻한 나눔의 의미를 함께했다.

서울문산고속도로㈜는 2022년부터 매년 파주시 취약계층을 위해 후원금을 전달해오고 있으며, 올해로 4년째 이어지는 꾸준한 사회공헌활동으로 지역사회에 귀감이 되고 있다.

장우종 부사장은 “추운 겨울을 앞두고 어려운 이웃에게 조금이나마 도움이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 다양한 사회공헌 활동을 통해 나눔의 가치를 지속적으로 실천하겠다”고 말했다.

이에 김은숙 복지정책국장은 “매년 꾸준한 관심과 사랑으로 기부해 주심에 깊이 감사드린다”며 “전달된 성금은 취약계층의 따뜻한 겨울나기를 위해 소중히 사용하겠다”고 전했다.

한편, 파주시 금촌에 위치한  하나로정육식당(대표 송현수)도 최근 식당 개업을 기념해 지역사회 나눔에 동참했다. 

식당 측은 두 달간 총 1만 명분의 곰탕을 기탁, 추운 계절을 앞둔 취약계층에게 든든한 한 끼의 온정을 전하는 뜻깊은 행보를 이어갔다.

Over the past two months, the restaurant has donated a total of 10,000 servings of gomtang (beef bone soup), continuing its meaningful work of providing a hearty meal of warmth to vulnerable groups ahead of the cold season.
