(재)파주시청소년재단 운정청소년문화의집은 11월 8일 운정행정복지센터에서 4차산업과 디지털 과학을 주제로 한 과학축제 ‘파주 만물상’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 미래를 이끌어갈 청소년들의 디지털 역량을 강화하기 위해 마련됐으며, ‘미래 탐험대’를 주제로 AI 로봇 체험 3종, AR 체험 4종, 청소년 과학 동아리 체험 5종 등 총 12개의 체험 부스로 구성됐다.

특히 한민고등학교 과학 동아리 ‘AREUMAREUM’의 메타버스 환경 퀴즈와 환경·과학 융합 체험, 수억고등학교 과학 동아리 ‘C.S.S.E’의 스마트팜 부스 ‘LED 스마트 화분’, 운정청소년문화의집 과학 멘토동아리 ‘M.N.M’의 ‘공기역학 청소기 만들기’ 체험 등 청소년이 직접 기획하고 운영한 부스들이 참가자들의 높은 호응을 얻었다.

원희복 파주시청소년재단 대표이사는 “이번 디지털 과학축제를 통해 청소년이 스스로 행사를 기획하고 이끌어가는 모습을 보며, 미래를 선도할 주역은 바로 청소년임을 다시 한 번 확신할 수 있었다”고 말했다.

The Paju Youth Foundation's Unjeong Youth Culture Center announced that it held "Paju Manmulsang," a science festival themed around the Fourth Industrial Revolution and digital science, at the Unjeong Administrative Welfare Center on November 8th.
