일산소방서가 고양시 일산동구에서 발생한 심정지 응급상황에 신속하게 대응해 40대 남성 환자의 생명을 구했다.

지난 14일 오전 6시경 발생한 이 사고에서 직장동료는 교회에서 심정지 환자를 발견하고 즉시 119에 신고했다. 

백석119안전센터 구급대원(소방장 장환석, 소방교 김승찬)이 현장에 도착했을 때 직장동료는 심폐소생술을 시행 중이었다.

심정지 상황을 확인한 구급대원은 곧바로 가슴압박과 자동심장충격기(AED)를 활용한 응급처치에 들어갔다. 

뒤이어 도착한 장항119안전센터 구급대원(소방위 성영우, 소방교 윤승준)과 함께 13분간 심폐소생술을 이어갔으며 그 결과 환자는 맥박을 회복했고, 환자의 상태를 면밀히 살피며 신속히 인근 병원으로 안전하게 이송되었다.

권웅 일산소방서장은 “신속한 신고와 구급대원의 침착한 현장 대응이 소중한 생명을 살렸다”며 “앞으로도 골든타임 확보를 위한 구급 대응력 강화에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Ilsan Fire Department responded quickly to a cardiac arrest emergency in Ilsandong-gu, Goyang City, saving the life of a man in his 40s.
