법무보호위원 경기북부지부협의회가 추석 명절을 앞두고 법무보호대상자들을 위한 나눔 활동에 나섰다.

김 회장과 기천서 사무처장은 지난 10월 1일 한국법무보호복지공단 경기북부지부를 방문해 기부금 200만원을 전달했다.

이번 기부금은 지역사회에서 소외되기 쉬운 법무보호대상자들의 명절 지원에 사용될 예정이다.

김명달 회장은 "작은 정성이지만 보호대상자들이 위로를 받아 따뜻한 명절을 보냈으면 좋겠다"며 기부 취지를 밝혔다.

기부금을 전달받은 양희철 지부장은 "자립을 위해 노력하는 보호대상자들이 풍성하고 행복한 명절을 보낼 수 있게 응원해주신 데 감사드린다"고 화답했다.

법무보호위원 경기북부지부협의회의 이번 위문 행사는 명절을 맞아 사회 복귀를 준비하는 법무보호대상자들에게 희망과 용기를 전하는 의미 있는 나눔으로 평가받고 있다.
