국악의 고장 안동에서 전통과 현대가 조화를 이루는 특별한 무대가 펼쳐진다.

 제10회 우리소리축제가 오는 9월 30일 오후 2시 구 안동역 뒷편 메인 무대에서 성대한 막을 올린다.

(사)국악문화보존회가 주최하고 경상북도와 안동시가 후원하는 이번 축제는 지난 10년간의 성과를 되돌아보며 새로운 도약을 준비하는 의미 있는 자리로 마련됐다.

판소리 대가 정옥향, 안동서 '수궁가' 특별 공연

이번 축제의 가장 큰 볼거리는 국가무형문화재 판소리 수궁가 준 보유자인 정옥향 이사장의 특별 무대다. 

평생을 국악과 함께해온 대가인 정 이사장은 안동 관객들과 깊은 교감을 나누며 판소리의 진수를 선보일 예정이다.

정옥향 이사장이 들려줄 '수궁가'는 인간 세상과 용궁을 오가며 벌어지는 해학과 풍자가 담긴 작품으로, 그녀 특유의 구성진 소리와 절묘한 기교가 어우러져 무대의 백미가 될 것으로 기대된다.

올해 축제는 전통과 현대가 조화를 이루는 다채로운 프로그램으로 구성됐다. 

남사당놀이의 역동적인 타악 연주를 시작으로, 정옥향 이사장의 제자 신현묵의 전통가요 무대, 정옥향 이사장의 판소리 '수궁가', 열두장고 조경희 아카데미의 합주 등이 차례로 펼쳐진다.

특히 정옥향 이사장은 판소리 무대뿐만 아니라 남도민요 무대에도 출연해 봉미영, 유병주, 신현묵 등 제자들과 함께 고향의 소리를 들려준다. 

이는 전통을 계승하면서도 관객과 함께 호흡하려는 그녀의 예술 철학을 보여주는 대목이다.

국가무형유산 줄타기 공연과 성민호의 가요 무대도 관객들에게 특별한 즐거움을 선사할 예정이다.

This year's festival features a diverse program that harmonizes tradition and modernity.

The event will begin with a dynamic percussion performance by Namsadang Nori, followed by a traditional Korean song performance by Shin Hyun-mook, a student of Chairman Jeong Ok-hyang, followed by Jeong Ok-hyang's pansori performance of "Sugungga," and an ensemble by the Yeoldujanggo Academy's Cho Kyung-hee.

Notably, Chairman Jeong Ok-hyang will perform not only pansori but also Namdo folk songs, sharing the sounds of her hometown with her students Bong Mi-yeong, Yoo Byeong-ju, and Shin Hyun-mook.
