고양도시관리공사가 교통사고 예방과 안전운전 실천을 위한 노사 공동 결의대회를 개최하며 교통안전에 대한 강력한 의지를 천명했다.

공사는 8일 교통법규 준수 및 안전운전 실천 결의대회를 노사 공동으로 개최했다고 9일 발표했다.

이번 행사는 2022년 4월부터 추진해온 "S.O.S" 365프로젝트의 연장선상에서 마련된 것으로, 교통사고 무사고 달성을 위한 실천 방안으로 기획됐다.

특히 이번 결의대회에는 공공운수 노동조합 고양도시관리공사 지회와 교통약자이동지원센터 운전원 노동조합이 함께 참여해 의미를 더했다. 

노사가 안전운전을 통한 무사고 운행이라는 공동 목표를 설정하고 이를 실천하기 위한 협력체계를 구축한 것이다.

결의대회는 운전원 대표의 무사고 사업장 구축 실천 결의문 낭독을 시작으로, 안전의식 확보 및 교통법규 준수를 위한 결의문 서명, 교통사고 제로화 현수막을 활용한 단체 기념촬영 순으로 진행됐다.

강승필 사장은 "교통사고 무사고 결의대회를 통해 노사가 함께 교통약자와 이용 시민들에게 안전하고 편안한 이동권을 보장할 수 있도록 최선의 노력을 다하겠다"고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 모든 운전원이 교통사고 제로화 목표에 동참하고 실천할 것을 다짐하는 계기가 되었으며, 교통법규 준수 및 안전운전에 대한 확고한 의지를 재확인하는 자리로 평가받고 있다.

한편 고양도시관리공사 교통편의팀은 현재 고양시 교통약자 이동지원센터를 통해 특별교통수단 79대를 운영하고 있으며, 고양누리버스 5개 노선에 버스 11대를 투입해 교통약자와 교통 소외지역 주민들의 이동편의를 제공하고 있다.
