파주소방서가 위급환자를 위한 구급차 우선 제공 체계 구축에 나섰다.

파주소방서는 8월 20일 파주시 운정동 일대에서 '올바른 119구급차 이용문화 확산 캠페인'을 실시했다고 21일 발표했다.

이번 캠페인은 진짜 위급한 환자에게 구급차가 우선적으로 제공될 수 있는 환경을 조성하기 위해 기획됐다.

캠페인 현장에서는 펌프차 앞좌석에 '길터주기' 홍보판을 부착한 카퍼레이드가 진행됐다. 또한 구급차 전광판을 통해 '올바른 119이용 안내 문구'를 지속적으로 송출해 시민들의 관심을 끌었다.

소방공무원들은 직접 시민들과 만나 △119 신고 요령 △비응급환자 의료상담 안내 등의 정보를 제공했다. 

아울러 관련 리플릿을 배부하며 소방차 길터주기의 중요성을 알리는 홍보활동도 병행했다.

파주소방서는 이번 캠페인을 통해 "구급차는 생명전용차"라는 인식을 시민들에게 확실히 심어주고, 실제 위급상황 발생 시 신속한 대응이 가능하도록 하는 것을 목표로 삼았다고 밝혔다.

김명찬 파주소방서장은 "구급차는 단 한 사람의 생명을 살리는 골든타임 차량"이라며 "시민 여러분께서도 119구급차 올바른 이용문화와 소방차 길터주기에 반드시 동참해 달라"고 당부했다.
